The Neuroscience Graduate Program (NGP) is an interdisciplinary graduate training program of The Ohio State University. The mission of the NGP is to prepare students for successful careers in neuroscience research. The NGP trains students to be independent, skilled, and creative scientists with the potential to become leading contributors in their chosen fields. The NGP offers a rigorous and comprehensive program of study which combines coursework, mentored laboratory research, and regular participation in seminars and conferences. At all stages of training, the professional development of the student is of paramount concern. Students who graduate from the NGP have a solid foundation of knowledge in neuroscience at the molecular, cellular, systems, and behavioral levels with a mastery of the specific areas of knowledge and technical skills pertinent to their chosen research area.
