Most graduate students choose to live off campus but for those seeking the convenience of on-campus housing, more information can be found at the university’s housing website.
Popular areas of Columbus for off-campus living include Grandview and Clintonville. These areas are a 5-10 minute drive from campus and are typically populated by families and young professionals recently graduated from college. Other housing can also be found farther away from campus in the Dublin and Worthington areas. For advice and assistance finding appropriate housing, see the helpful information below. Parking on campus
Graduate students are eligible to purchase B permits for main campus and WB permits for west campus. Main campus parking includes both surface lots and parking garages while west campus is only surface lots. For those who decide to purchase a WB permit, there are multiple campus bus routes that run between these lots and main campus. For route information, visit the CABS website. During off-peak hours (weekdays 4pm-3am; all day weekends) any of the permits mentioned above may be used to park in any main campus A, B, or C spot. For those who do not wish to buy a parking permit, the COTA city bus system has several routes that run through campus. As a student, your BuckID allows you to ride this bus for free at all times. For more information about routes and schedules, visit the COTA website.
