Wound Healing is impaired after spinal cord injury in a lesion-level dependent manner with potential for amelioration using novel neuroimmune therapies

During his time at OSU, Christopher served as a lecturer for the Upward Bound Neuroscience Program (2022, 2024), NEURO 4100 (2022), and NEUROSC 5605 (2025).  He was elected by his peers to served an NGP student representative (2024-2026) and positions within the Neuroscience Graduate Student Organization, and the Department of Neuroscience Culture Committee (2023-2024). Christopher's work investigates the immunological mechanisms that are impaired by spinal cord injury and contribute to impair wound healing in a novel mouse model.  He has published one first author research article, one first author invited commentary, and one co-authored research article. He has one additional paper in preparation and nearly submission for peer review.  After Graduation, Christopher will begin as an associate clinical trial manager at Medpace Inc.
