In Neuroscience. She joined the NGP in 2019 and Dr. Stephen J. Kolb's lab to study the molecular mechanisms underlying motor neuron vulnerability in spinal muscular atrophy. During her time at OSU, she trained three undergraduate trainees, co-directed the Upward Bound Neuroscience Program (2022 & 2023), and served as co-chair of the Neuroscience Graduate Student Organization's Diversity and Inclusion committee (2021-2022). She has one first-author publication under revision and presented her research at local and national conferences.
