This free event will be held on November 15, 2024 at the Fawcett Center.The goal is to highlight neuroscience research across Ohio State and to foster internal collaborations. The keynote speaker will be Alison Goate, DPhil, Chair, Departments of Genetics & Genomic Sciences and Professor, Departments of Neuroscience & Neurology, at Mount Sinai. She is also faculty of the Icahn Genomics Institute at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She has worked on the genetics of neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) since 1987, and is the founding director of the Ronald M. Loeb Center for Alzheimer’s Disease at Mount Sinai.This year’s program will also include two poster sessions selected from submitted abstracts (including a category for undergraduates), plenary sessions, trainee flash talks (chosen from abstracts), and lunchtime networking. Registration is now open for the 2024 Neuroscience Research Institute (NRI) Annual Retreat! This free event will be held on November 15, 2024 at the Fawcett Center.
