
Therapeutic Targeting of Brain ApoE Receptors in Alzheimer’s Disease
Sarah Kaye graduated from Dickinson College in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and a minor in Chemistry. Before coming to the Ohio State University, she worked as a research assistant in the lab of Dr. Anju Vasudevan, where she studied the role of angiogenesis during embryonic development. She joined the NGP in 2019, where she has studied the role of ApoE receptors in modulating the development of Alzheimer’s Disease pathology with Dr. Jie Gao. During her time at the OSU, she has mentored 5 undergraduate trainees and two summer interns. Sarah has presented at numerous local and national conferences, has one first-author publication, and three co-author publications, with two other first-author publications in preparation. Sarah is currently seeking employment in industry research or an Alzheimer’s postdoctoral position.
