Calli Bellinger awarded a Presidential Fellowship
The Presidential Fellowship is the most prestigious award given by the Graduate School to recognize the outstanding scholarly accomplishments and potential of graduate students entering the final phase of their dissertation research or terminal degree project.
Calli is working in the lab of Dr. Benjamin Segal in the Department of Neurology. Research in the lab is centered on understanding how the immune system is dysregulated in MS, how immune cells gain access to the CNS, and how immune cells interact with glial cells, neurons and axons to either cause damage or initiate disease remission.
