“Enhanced fear memory after social defeat in mice is dependent on interleukin-1 receptor signaling in glutamatergic neurons” Molecular Psychiatry 2024. 

Analyses of single-nuclei RNA sequencing (snRNAseq) reveals that repeated social defeat influenced transcription in hippocampal neurons associated with glutamate signaling, inflammation and synaptic plasticity, which depend upon neuronal expression of Interleukin 1 Receptor Type 1.
