Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Current Research Description

My laboratory is primarily interested in understanding how cancer and cancer survival affects brain and behavior. Specifically, we seek to identify the immune and endocrine pathways underlying cognitive impairment, affect, and fatigue due to mammary tumors and chemotherapy. Most of our work uses mouse models, but some is in cancer patients. We use an integrative biology approach to studying these questions and broad levels of analyses (behavioral, physiological, cellular, molecular).
